The Grande Hall at Hofmann Ranch sits on a gentle hilltop surrounded by verdant pastureland, the lush Medina Valley and historic homesteads. The owners, Hans and Charlotte Hofmann, fell in love with this country paradise when they first laid their eyes on it. They bought the 370-acre ranch as their retirement nest and soon decided they wanted to share the beauty around them with others looking for a place to host their special events. Now, the ranch’s three new indoor and outdoor event facilities can each host 200 to 300 guests for weddings, anniversaries, parties, corporate functions and other occasions. “It’s just so beautiful out here with our hilltop oak trees and valley below,” says Hans Hofmann. “Sometimes, it’s hard to believe we’re a short drive from downtown San Antonio." Highlights of the ranch include the Grande Hall’s double oak staircase and balcony level, the Patio’s wonderful brickwork and the Pavilion’s lavish chandeliers and wood columns. The Hofmanns gave the utmost attention to detail when designing and building the ranch’s event space. For your special occasion, they will provide the same high level of service and professionalism. “When we hosted our first wedding in the Grande Hall, we worked on making things as prefect as possible, as though one of our own daughters were getting married,” Charlotte Hofmann says. “We feel so honored when people choose our ranch for the most important celebrations and events in their lives.”

Coordinator: Timeless Beginnings

I started coordinating weddings professionally in 2006 after earning my event planning certification from the US Event Guide. I am a Class of 2004 alumna of St. Mary's University and a Class of 2000 alumna of Antonian College Prep High School. I always love including that last one because it was at Antonian that I met my handsome hubby! Together we have three ridiculously cute kids (I'm not kidding, they are crazy adorable) and are both born and raised in San Antonio. I can't tell you how many times I've been asked, "How do you do it? Aren't weddings so stressful?!" That's when I refer to the quote you see above...weddings really are my kind of crazy! Some people love the corporate life, some love sports, others teaching. I LOVE weddings! Besides the fact that organizing things, being creative and keeping track of numbers makes me happy, I am also just a really smooshy girl! My favorite part of being a wedding coordinator is hearing about so many couples' love stories. I am blessed to call many of the couples I have met good friends long after their wedding days, and it still thrills me to hear how their love stories have grown to include children, homes and new jobs! I know it sounds cheesy, but it's pretty incredible to be a part of such an important day in someone's life. I love doing everything I can to make that day as wonderful, fun and stress-free as every couple hopes it will be!
